Terms of Service

By creating an account on Pufferbase, verifying a creator account, posting, commenting, replying, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Pufferbase.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pufferbase. If your local law sets a higher minimum age for online services, you must meet that age. You must not be barred from using the service under applicable law (for example, if you appear on a government sanctions list). To verify a creator account, you must also meet the follower or subscriber threshold listed on the Connect page for that platform.

• You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to anyone else.
• You must provide an accurate email address; we use it to confirm your account and send important service notices.
• Each post on Pufferbase is published anonymously under a randomly-generated, single-use username — but your underlying account is still bound by these terms.
• You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

The following are not allowed on Pufferbase — neither in posts, comments, replies, image uploads, nor in any platform connection metadata:

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that targets people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristic.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers a minor.
• Content that depicts or encourages real-world violence, self-harm, or terrorism.
• Doxxing, sharing other people's private information without consent, or impersonating someone else — including misrepresenting which creator account you are verified on.
• Content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or other legal rights.
• Spam, scams, malware, phishing, automated abuse, or attempts to scrape, overload, or compromise the service.
• Unauthorized commercial activity, including soliciting payments outside of features that Pufferbase officially provides.
• Falsifying or attempting to falsify your platform follower count or verification status.

We may remove content, suspend access, or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

• To verify a creator account on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Twitch, you must complete the OAuth flow on the Connect page and meet that platform's minimum follower or subscriber count.
• By verifying, you authorize Pufferbase to read your follower or subscriber count from that platform's public API for the sole purpose of confirming you meet the threshold and snapshotting it onto your posts.
• You may disconnect any verified account at any time from the Connect page. Posts you made while verified will keep their original platform tags and follower-count snapshot.
• Posts tagged with one or more creator platforms can only be authored by users verified on each of those platforms. Comments and replies on a tagged post require verification on at least one of the post's platforms.

• You are responsible for what you post, comment, or reply on Pufferbase. The fact that posts display under a randomly generated username does not change your obligations under these terms.
• You may attach up to 5 images per post. Images are converted to PNG and stored in our images bucket. Do not upload content you don't have rights to.
• You may delete your own posts at any time. Comments and replies left under deleted posts may be removed along with the post.

You retain ownership of the posts, comments, replies, and uploads (such as attached images) that you publish on Pufferbase (“Your Content”). To run the service you grant Pufferbase a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and reformat Your Content as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service. This license ends when you delete the content, except for residual copies retained for backups, audit, or legal compliance.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to post Your Content and to grant the license above, and that Your Content does not violate any law or these terms.

Pufferbase is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, including taking posts offline for maintenance, abuse investigation, or legal reasons.

You may stop using Pufferbase at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access — including removing posts and disabling your account — if we believe you have violated these terms or if your continued use creates risk for us, other users, or third parties. After termination the sections of these terms that should reasonably survive (for example, ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

Pufferbase is a platform for user-generated content from verified creators. We do not endorse and are not responsible for what users post, comment, or reply. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pufferbase disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pufferbase and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to USD 100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.

You agree to defend and indemnify Pufferbase against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the product or by email. Continuing to use Pufferbase after a change means you accept the updated terms.
